Orlando Camping World Stadium Rebuild

Orlando, FL

  • Budget Approximately $200,000,000
  • Associate Architects:  HNTB, Kansas City; Rhodes + Brito Architects
  • Associate Contractor:  Turner Construction
  • LEED Silver

Ramski & Company worked as the Interior Design component of the design team selected by the City of Orlando and Florida Citrus Sports to reconstruct and modernize the Florida Citrus Bowl, newly named Camping World Stadium.  HNTB, Kansas City, Rhodes + Brito Architects and Ramski & Company planned, documented, and supervised the project which included:

  • Demolition and reconstruction of the existing lower bowl concrete and steel structure
  • Repair of the upper precast concrete bowl
  • Redesign to accommodate 65,000 permanent seats (including approximately 5,000 temporary seats in the North end zone)
  • The addition of 10 new suites on the West side
  • The refresh of existing East side suites
  • The addition of club areas on both East and West (40,000 sq. ft. total) consisting of 2 indoor clubs flanked by 2 outdoor club areas on each side
  • An update of the facility to current ADA and building codes
  • New enhanced concessions, locker rooms, restrooms, press facilities, and associated utilities
  • Creation of North and South party decks

The construction for this facility began after the Monster Truck event in March and was “game ready” in November for the Florida Classic.  This represents an extraordinarily short 9 month construction duration for a project of this complexity.  Ramski & Company provided constant design guidance through construction to meet budget and completion timelines.
