Deltona Community Center

Deltona, Florida

  • Over 30,600 sq. ft.
  • Associated Architect: C.T. HSU + Associates
  • Contractor: Mulligan Constructors
  • Construction Cost: $7,212,000

This striking, sunlit multi-function facility supports the Deltona community and satisfies the regional demand for a first-class social venue. Designed by C.T. HSU + Associates and furnished by Ramski & Company, this elegant facility flexes gracefully.

The glass-lined pre-function space spans the backside of the center, adjacent to the covered porch and the events lawn. Event support is provided by the catering kitchen, bride and groom suites, a boardroom and 1,000 sq. ft. meeting space.

A 7,500 sq. ft. banquet hall with a working stage for theatre and music, seats 500 to dine and 700 in theatre style and can be subdivided to accommodate up to three smaller events.

Across the glass front of the building the 3,820 sq. ft. “Great Hall” is the highly visible centerpiece for the Council for Aging senior activity and dining center. One hundred seniors are served lunch every day from their own kitchen which assembles and distributes meals on wheels. There is designated office space for the council to manage this outreach. Comfy lounge furniture and game tables provide activity space, and there is a 1,600 sq. ft. activity room for education, wellness, dance and social activities connected to the Great Hall.
