When Rollins College, located in Winter Park, FL, wanted to bolster the on-campus upperclassmen community experience, the concept of Dave’s Boathouse was generated. Ramski & Company, along with architectural design partners created this 5,200 sq. ft. nautically themed restaurant / pub. This unique space is a unifying area where student spirit can continue to grow and where memories can be created for students and faculty alike. The space features artwork, photos, and iconic images that celebrate the College’s best traditions. Authentic nautical items were repurposed to create a casual, comfortable atmosphere. Best of all, the pub gives students a responsible, adult experience that allows them to bond with teachers outside the classroom.
