At Ed-Spaces this November, Dr. Lynda Hayes (Director of UF/ P.K.Yonge Developmental Research School), Dr. Ashley Hill (Director of Student and Family Services), and Jennifer Ramski, IIDA ( Principal, Ramski & Company, Inc.) met in the “Cultivate Classroom” prototype (Designed by MA + Architecture) to share experiences proactively involving their teachers in furniture specification for their new K-5 School in 2012. The group then explored the post occupancy findings and lessons learned about the process and the results at 1 and 6 years after occupancy. The CEU was summarized in the ESSENTIALS article below.
